Universal Orlando Resort at a glance
The resort is called Universal Orlando Resort. "Universal Studios Orlando" is a common search term, but Universal Studios Florida is only one park inside the resort. Getting the names straight helps when you compare tickets.
Universal counts four parks: three theme parks (Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe) and the Volcano Bay water park. Studios, Islands and CityWalk sit next to each other and are connected on foot. Epic Universe and Volcano Bay have their own entrances.
This guide is independent and has no connection to Universal or any park operator. Buy tickets from Universal or an authorized seller.

Universal Studios Florida
A single park, not the name of the whole resort. Diagon Alley is part of this park.
Islands of Adventure
Home to Hogsmeade, Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Jurassic World VelociCoaster and The Incredible Hulk Coaster. Height and health rules differ by ride, so check each one before you queue.
Epic Universe
The third theme park, with the Ministry of Magic area. It has its own entrance and parking. Read the Epic Universe guide for worlds, tickets and shuttles.
Volcano Bay
The water park. It is scheduled to close for maintenance from October 26, 2026. See the Orlando water parks page for the reopening dates the operator gives.
Islands of Adventure and the Hogwarts Express
Hogsmeade is in Islands of Adventure. The Hogwarts Express train connects Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, so it needs a Park-to-Park ticket. It does not run to Epic Universe.
The operator lists the Hogwarts Express as closed on November 4, 2026. If a train ride matters to your plan, avoid that day.

Tickets for 2026
Universal sells new multi-day tickets for 2026 visits. Prices depend on date and ticket type, so look at the operator's calendar for the days you want.

Universal Express Pass
Express is Universal's paid line-skipping product. It needs separate park admission. Programs and exclusions can change, so read the current list on the day you buy.
- Universal Express gives one use per participating ride.
- Express Unlimited allows repeat rides at participating attractions in Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
- Hotel benefit: Loews Royal Pacific, Hard Rock Hotel and Loews Portofino Bay are listed with Express Unlimited included. It is not valid at Epic Universe or Volcano Bay.
Not every hotel in the same collection gets this benefit. Check the hotel name, not just the distance to the park. Epic Universe has its own Express, covered on its page. More on lodging areas is in where to stay.
Parking, shuttles and CityWalk
Parking fees for 2026 include tax, according to the operator. Prices can change.

Parking is free after 6 p.m., except on Halloween Horror Nights evenings and December 31. This does not apply at Epic Universe.
The main garage is at 6000 Universal Boulevard and serves Studios, Islands, CityWalk and the Volcano Bay shuttle. The Epic Universe lot is at 1001 Epic Boulevard. With a same-day receipt and ID you can switch lots. A free shuttle runs from CityWalk to Epic Universe and Volcano Bay.
CityWalk has an age rule in the evening. Guests under 18 without park or event admission need an exception from 8 p.m., such as a parent or guardian, a stay at a Universal hotel or certain reservations or tickets. Check the exact terms first. For airport transfers, read getting around Orlando.
Closures to know about
The operator's closure list changes. The entries below were listed in October 2026, and a missing entry does not mean an attraction is working, so check the list on your day.
- Po Live! is on the closure list from October 3, 2026.
- The Horror Make-Up Show has been closed since May 12, 2026, until "winter 2026".
- Jurassic Park River Adventure is listed as closed until a planned date of December 16, 2026.
- Animal Actors On Location! is announced as permanently closed from November 3, 2026.
- Volcano Bay closes for maintenance from October 26, 2026. Reopening dates in the operator's pages differ (March 24 and April 1, 2027), so treat both as targets.

Is Universal Studios Orlando a separate park?
The park is called Universal Studios Florida. The resort as a whole is Universal Orlando Resort and also includes Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, Volcano Bay and CityWalk.
Can I walk between the parks?
Studios, Islands and CityWalk are connected on foot. Epic Universe and Volcano Bay are reached by a free shuttle from CityWalk.
Does the Hogwarts Express go to Epic Universe?
No. It connects Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure only, and you need a Park-to-Park ticket.
How much is parking?
$35 for a standard car in 2026, $50 to $60 for Prime spaces and $45 for RVs and buses. Parking is free after 6 p.m. with exceptions, but not at Epic Universe.
Does my hotel's Express work at Epic Universe?
No. The free Express Unlimited hotel benefit applies to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure at the hotels named by Universal. It is not valid at Epic Universe or Volcano Bay.
