Epic Universe at a glance
Epic Universe is a separate theme park in the Universal Orlando Resort. Universal confirmed its opening on May 22, 2025. It sits apart from Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, with its own entrance and its own parking lot.
You need a regular dated ticket that includes Epic Universe. The park is not on the Hogwarts Express line, which only links the two older theme parks. For the resort overview, see Universal Orlando.

The Ministry of Magic belongs to Epic Universe. Diagon Alley is in Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade is in Islands of Adventure. The Express list further down names rides such as Battle at the Ministry, Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge and Hiccup's Wing Gliders, so you can see the range of the park.

Tickets and multi-day visits in 2026
Universal launched new 3, 4 and 5 day tickets for visits in 2026. These products can include Epic Universe more than once. The older rule that a multi-day ticket allowed only one Epic day does not apply to them.
Read the product name and the list of parks before you buy, because not every ticket covers Epic Universe. The base version allows one park per day. A Park-to-Park option allows several parks on the same day. Volcano Bay is a separate add-on. Prices depend on the date and the ticket, so check the calendar for your days. Epic Express is separate from the hotel perk. The free Express Unlimited at Loews Royal Pacific, Hard Rock Hotel and Loews Portofino Bay works at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, not at Epic Universe.
Getting to Epic Universe
- Shuttle: a free Universal shuttle runs from CityWalk. There is no walking route from the older parks that Universal offers as a normal way to change parks.
- By car: the lot is at 1001 Epic Boulevard. Standard parking is $35 per day in 2026. The free-after-6-p.m. rule does not apply at Epic Universe.
- Switching lots: with a same-day receipt and ID you can change parking lots on the same day.
- Public bus: some LYNX Link 311 trips stop at the Epic Universal Transfer Center. Since April 2026 the Epic bus loop runs less often, so do not assume that every airport bus goes straight to the park.

Planning a day
Opening hours are published by date, so there is no single time to quote. Check the calendar for your day and arrive early on busy dates. Summer brings heat and afternoon thunderstorms in Florida. In a storm, go into a building or a closed vehicle. An open shelter is not safe cover. Our weather and best time to visit page has monthly averages.

No. The free hotel Express Unlimited is not valid at Epic Universe or Volcano Bay.
