Hollywood Studios at a glance
Disney's Hollywood Studios is one of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World near Orlando. The park is built around film and television: lands themed to Star Wars and Toy Story, a coaster, live shows and a lot of walking between them.
This is an independent guide with no connection to the park operator. Prices and schedules below are the operator's published figures as of 2026 and can change, so check them before you buy.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
A land themed to Star Wars, with Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. A Mandalorian and Grogu mission is listed for the Smugglers Run ride.

A land built around the Toy Story characters, listed on the park page next to Galaxy's Edge.
Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
The coaster launched in its Muppets version on May 26, 2026. It replaced the earlier Aerosmith theme.
Shows
The park page lists Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, The Magic of Disney Animation, The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After. Show times change, so read the schedule when you arrive.
The park page also announces parts of Monstropolis for 2027. They are not open yet, so do not plan your 2026 day around them.

Hours and entry
Opening hours are published as a daily calendar, so there is no fixed season rule. As one dated example, the calendar for October 19, 2026 showed 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with Early Entry from 8:30 a.m. Look up your own date.
Early Entry gives guests of Disney hotels and selected other hotels 30 minutes before opening, including on arrival and departure day. You still need valid admission, and not every ride opens early.
Dated one-day and multi-day tickets do not need a separate park reservation. Some other ticket types, such as annual passes or group tickets, can still require one. Our tickets guide compares the ticket types in more detail.
A base ticket allows one theme park per day. The Park Hopper option allows several parks on the same day. Disney pages differ on when you may switch parks, so confirm the current rule before you rely on it.
Skipping lines with Lightning Lane
Lightning Lane is a paid add-on. Prices vary by park, ride and date and show in the operator's app, so no fixed range is given here.

Getting to the park
The Disney Skyliner gondola links Hollywood Studios with EPCOT's International Gateway and with Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach and Riviera. It does not go to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom. Check the operating hours and where you change gondolas.
Other Disney destinations use the free resort buses. Theme park hotel buses run from 45 minutes before opening until 1 hour after closing. Luggage is not allowed on them.
If you drive, standard parking is $35 per day in 2026, and the daily fee applies to all four theme park lots. Guests registered at Disney hotels park at theme parks for free. More options are in our getting around guide.
Heat, storms and park rules
Much of the day is spent outdoors on foot. The National Weather Service advises drinking water, taking cooling breaks in air-conditioned spaces and doing less strenuous activity in the heat. In a thunderstorm, move into a sturdy building or a closed vehicle. An open shelter is not a safe substitute. Summer is hotter and wetter than winter, and the Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. See the best time to visit page for monthly climate figures.
Bags can be checked at entry. Weapons, drones, selfie sticks and alcohol brought from outside are not allowed. Strollers may be at most 79 × 132 cm (31 × 52 in), and stroller wagons are banned.

How much is a ticket for Hollywood Studios?
The operator advertises one-day tickets from $119 for ages 10 and up, before tax, in 2026. Children aged 3 to 9 have their own category, and children under 3 need no ticket. The final price depends on the date and the park, so check the ticket page for your day.
Do I need a park reservation?
Dated one-day and multi-day tickets do not need a separate reservation. Some other ticket types can still require one, so check the rules for your ticket.
Is the Aerosmith coaster still open?
The coaster now runs as Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, which launched on May 26, 2026.
Can I take the Skyliner to Magic Kingdom?
No. The Skyliner connects Hollywood Studios with EPCOT and the hotels at Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach and Riviera only.
Is Monstropolis open?
Not yet. The park page announces parts of it for 2027.
How early should I arrive?
Check the calendar for your date. Guests of eligible hotels get Early Entry 30 minutes before opening. Everyone else can arrive shortly before the posted opening time.
